Welcome to my new blog! As the Internet gets fragmented into smaller and smaller fragments of thoughts, I thought I would try to get back to the roots of social media with a full-form blog like I had in 2006 or so. My goal is to write about my new life in Victoria, BC, Canada (and on Vancouver Island in general) having recently moved here from Seattle, WA, USA.
Stay tuned for a cornucopia of topics ranging from cold water diving (hence the name of the blog), cycling, hiking, and other outdoor actvities, to posts about travel as my wife and I explore further afield in Canada and beyond. I may even get into some of my impressions of Canadian culture as I get acclimated. I look forward to sharing my adventures.
